Two scientists from University of Zurich (Sotomo) join the scientific board

 

Dr Michael Hermann and Dr Heiri Leuthold : social and political geography with a spatial analysis approach

Dr Michael Hermann and Dr Heiri Leuthold (†), Sotomo, University of Zurich, recently joined our scientific board. They will contribute with their experience in modeling and analyzing complex relationships in different social phaenomena (visualisation of social topologies using landscape metaphors, cartographic and GI-methods, integration of a temporal dimension into social topologies).

† Heiri Leuthold unexpectedly died the 29th of April, 2009. Together with Michael Hermann , he founded the SOTOMO group at the Department of Geography of the University of Zürich.
